Grandmother, mother, the post impressionism era, and a B.A. in Psychology. People and interaction have always facinated me, hence my interest in what I call 'People' art.
 
I have travelled extensively around the world including many trips to the various pacific islands. This undoubtably, plus the fact that I live in Northland, has influenced a 'Pacific' theme in some of my paintings.
